We now have a Women's club (SHARPE Shooters Women of High Caliber)! New memberships into the Women's club are welcome. If you are a woman and have an interest in shooting with other like-minded women, then this club just might be for you!

Our zoning in Richmond county prohibits us from shooting before 10am Monday - Saturday and before 1:00pm
on Sunday. We are not allowed to shoot past 7:00pm or dark, whichever comes first.
We are open exclusively to our range members 2 days a week:
Tuesday reserved for range members only 10:00am - 1:00pm
Wednesday reserved for range members only 10:00am - 1:00pm
2024 Holidays that we are closed
Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day
Holiday Early Closing at 2:00pm
July 4th, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve
Range Fees: $20 each person - this is an all day fee - no time limit.
These rates are for both firearm and archery. Archery 3-D target use rates are $8 for a large block.
Firearm Transfers: Transfer fees and shipping charges of firearms from the originating FFL dealer we receive are the responsibility of the buyer in addition to our transfer fee(s). We would need the FFL dealer shipping to us to contact us for a copy of our FFL if they do not already have it on file (we do not give our FFL to individuals).
Starting September 19, 2022 the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) will require us to enter additional information when performing background checks. Georgia residents who have a Georgia Weapons Carry License (GWCL) will not be required to have a background check done when filling out form 4473 to pickup a serialized part or complete gun. We strongly encourage Georgia residents to obtain a GWCL through the Probate Court in the county in which you reside so that a background check is not required - as well as if you carry in neighboring states that reciprocate conceal carry with GA, a GWCL will be required when crossing state lines away from GA. For this reason we have structured our transfer fees as follows:
Transfer Fee $30 - additional guns picked up on the same day $15 each
GWCL Holders Transfer Fee $20 - additional guns picked up on the same day $10 each
Range Members Transfer Fee $10
Guns not picked up within 14 days will be assessed additional fees of $30 per month for storage unless there are extenuating circumstances. Guns not picked up within 90 days become property of Shooters.
Handguns, guns classified as "Other" such as the Mossberg Shockwave, and receivers that are transferred to us where the buyer is not a resident of Georgia - there are two options:
1. Return to the seller at the buyer's expense plus a $30 transfer fee due to Shooters.
2. We will transfer it to a valid FFL in your home state of residence (if the gun is legal in your home
state) at buyer's expense plus a $30 transfer fee due to Shooters.
NOTE: We do not ship to California, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Massachusetts, nor will we ship to any state that implements a state level regulation that requires us to register and pay fees for the privilege of shipping to their state.
Sending a Transfer
A shipping service fee of $50 plus shipping charges will be required before a firearm is sent. We do not provide any packaging materials. You will also need to have the destination FFL copy in-hand, or have them send us a copy of their FFL via email to us at gunclubroadllc@gmail.com. Please do not tape shut the box being shipped as we must verify guns and their serial numbers to enter them into our system before shipping. Any transfer fees charged by the FFL dealer receiving a firearm are the responsibility of the person receiving the transfer.
SIGN-IN PROCESS
We have implemented an electronic Liability Waiver and Range Rules sign in that will be kept on file for 1 year! No more showing a "Safety Video" card either - everything will be kept in your electronic file! Sign your waiver from the comfort of your own home here if you have a tablet - and then when you get to the range, simply give us your last name, we'll check you in, pay your tab, and send you out to the firing line!
SKILL DRILLS
Did you ever want to participate in a "move & shoot" scenario, but don't have all the equipment? Well, our Skill Drills are run with USPSA style targeting where a drill is setup and those participating can run the drill multiple times until everyone in attendance is ready to move onto another drill. This is a drop-in activity that is held on the last Sunday every other month. Start time is 1pm and is run until everyone in attendance is done for the day.
We are conveniently located just off of I-20 at Riverwatch Parkway (exit 200) behind the Pilot / Wendy's truck stop at the end of Gun Club Road. Our full address is 2901 Gun Club Road, Augusta, GA 30907.
Our facility currently has two 40-yard pistol bays. Don't forget the archers out there - we can easily and quickly configure a pistol bay for archery as well.
We have constructed a 200-yard rifle range that will support shooting from bench and prone positions.
Our facility also has a 6,000 square foot building that contains a bar/meeting area (no we do not serve alcohol nor food), retail, and instruction areas with instruction given by NRA certified instructors.
Our sister range is Shooters Indoor Range & Gun Shop located just off Washington Road behind Rhineharts and the Mercedes dealer. Feel free to stop in and ask the staff about the outdoor range.
Memberships are available as well. $450/year for an individual and $550/year for a family membership. We define a family as those immediate family members living with you in a single household.
